Washington State women defeat Arizona 78-68
Jazmine Perkins had 13 points, 12 rebounds and seven steals as Washington State beat Arizona 78-68 Saturday to snap a five-game losing streak.

Jazmine Perkins had 13 points, 12 rebounds and seven steals as Washington State beat Arizona 78-68 Saturday to snap a five-game losing streak.
Sage Romberg added 14 points, Carly Noyes 12 and Rosie Tarnowski and Rosetta Adzasu 11 each for the Cougars (10-11, 4-5 Pac-12).
Davellyn Whyte had 11 points, 10 rebounds, six steals and five assists for Arizona (13-8, 2-7), which has lost four straight. Aley Rhode led the Wildcats with 15 points, and Reiko Thomas had 14.
After a tight 10 minutes to open the game, Perkins stole the ball twice and scored five points to push Washington State to a 26-20 lead. The Cougars led 33-23 at halftime, and maintained that lead when Noyes scored 10 of Washington State's first 13 points in the second half for a 46-34 lead.
Noyes went to the bench with her third foul, and Arizona turned up the defensive pressure to pull within 52-47. But the Cougars came back with a nine-point run to take a 68-54 lead with 5 minutes to play.
