Seattle City Council studies Bruce Lee museum
The Seattle City Council is considering city support for a museum in honor of martial-arts film star Bruce Lee.
The Seattle City Council is considering city support for a museum in honor of martial-arts film star Bruce Lee.
KING-TV reported (bit.ly/s0LvOK) the council is waiting for a Lee Family Foundation proposal for the Bruce Lee Action Museum, which could be built in the Chinatown International District.
Lee grew up in Hong Kong, attended the University of Washington and taught martial arts in Seattle. He became famous for action films, including "Fists of Fury" and "Enter the Dragon." He died in Hong Kong in 1973 at 32 and is buried in Lake View Cemetery in Seattle.
