PSE events trade new bulbs for old
Puget Sound Energy customers can exchange incandescent bulbs for new fluorescent ones and get home-energy advice at a series of summer events. The first began Saturday and continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Northshore Ace Hardware in Federal Way.

Puget Sound Energy customers can exchange incandescent bulbs for new fluorescent ones and get home-energy advice at a series of summer events. The first began Saturday and continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Northshore Ace Hardware in Federal Way.
PSE residential customers are invited to trade up to 10 old or expired incandescent bulbs for 10 free compact fluorescent bulbs. They typically last 10 times longer and use 75 percent less energy, PSE spokeswoman MacKenzie McDowell said.
Similar weekend events are coming up in Bremerton, Kent, Renton, Redmond, Oak Harbor, Lacey and Burlington. For information, visit www.pse.com.
