SIDNEY, Neb. —

Outdoor gear retailer Cabela's is planning to open a second store in Washington state next year.

The Sidney, Neb., company recently announced plans to open a new store in Tulalip. The store about 30 miles north of Seattle will be on the Tulalip Tribe's Indian Reservation near Marysville.

Cabela's says it is planning a 110,000-square-foot store in the Quil Ceda Village shopping center.

Tulalip tribal Chairman Mel Sheldon says he is proud that his reservation will be home to the first Cabela's on a reservation.

Cabela's says the new store will resemble its existing ones from the outside with log construction and metal roofing.

Cabela's CEO Tommy Millner says Washington is a good location for the company because so many people there already order from its catalog and website.
