KINGSTON — The SoundRunner passenger-ferry service between Kingston and downtown Seattle, resumed Tuesday after being shut down for six months.

The ferry began service in October, but it was suspended in November because of rough weather and problems with the boats.

The ferry, operated by the Port of Kingston, offers two 50-minute daily trips between Kingston and Seattle, one in the morning and one in the late afternoon on weekdays. Fare is $7 each way.
