Here's what's open, closed or running on holiday hours during the three-day Memorial Day weekend.

Here's what's open, closed or running on holiday hours during the three-day Memorial Day weekend.

Banks and credit unions: Saturday hours vary depending on the bank branch. All banks and credit unions will be closed on Monday.

State offices: Most state offices will be closed all three days. The State Legislative Building will be open for guided public tours 11 a.m.-3 p.m. all three days.

King County Metro Transit: Metro Transit will operate on its regular Saturday and Sunday schedule on the weekend. Most buses will operate on a Sunday schedule on Monday. All Metro offices and customer-information lines will be closed on Monday. More information: kingcounty.gov/metro

Metro DART shuttle and water taxis: DART routes 773 and 775 and the West Seattle Water Taxi will be on a Sunday schedule on Memorial Day. The Vashon Water Taxi won't run Monday.

South Lake Union streetcar: On Sunday schedule on Monday.

Sound Transit: Buses and light rail will operate on their regular Saturday and Sunday schedules on the weekend. On Monday, ST express buses and Link light rail will be on Sunday schedule. Sounder trains won't run on Memorial Day.

Community Transit: Local buses and Swift services will operate on a normal schedule Saturday. Community Transit won't run Sunday and Monday. The RideStore and Customer Service will also be closed Monday. Passengers who need to add fare to ORCA cards can find open locations at seati.ms/j1U2sE.

Pierce Transit: Runs on its normal schedule Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, local bus service and the SHUTTLE paratransit service will be on Sunday schedule. Pierce Transit administrative offices and Bus Shop facilities will be closed on Monday.

City of Seattle: City offices are closed on Monday and normally closed over the weekend.

Seattle Public Library: All library locations will be closed Monday. The Central Library will be operating on normal hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Department of Licensing: All Washington state driver's-licensing offices will be closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Vehicle-licensing offices will be closed on Monday.

U.S. post offices: All post offices will be closed on Monday and there will be no mail deliveries. Post offices and mail delivery will be on a normal schedule Saturday.

State liquor stores: Most state-run liquor stores will be open Monday during normal hours. Some contract liquor stores may also be open. For a list of state-run liquor stores open on Memorial Day, go to seati.ms/jJxFhp.

Washington State Ferries: Ferry riders should be prepared for waits of two hours or more if they're traveling Saturday and Monday. There will be extra sailings from Orcas Island to Anacortes Monday afternoon. The Port Townsend/Coupeville route will run on a regular schedule Monday, but reservations are strongly recommended. On Monday, the Mukilteo/Clinton route will operate on Sunday schedule, the Seattle/Bainbridge Island route will run on Saturday schedule, and the Point Defiance/Tahlequah route will operate on weekend schedule. Garbage/recycling: Seattle solid-waste and recycling collections will be on normal schedule Monday. Seattle's North Recycling and Disposal Station in the Fremont/Wallingford area and the South Recycling and Disposal Station in the South Park area will be open Monday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
