At least five people were injured and one driver arrested after a suspected hit-and-run crash on Rainier Avenue South early Saturday, according to Seattle police.
A large sport-utility vehicle with four people aboard crossed the center line and hit a small sedan at 2:51 a.m. along Lake Washington near South Roxbury Street. Three males were thrown into the street from the SUV and suffered life-threatening injuries, police said.
The SUV driver, whom police believe to be intoxicated, continued driving toward the Atlantic City boat launch, where he was arrested. Two females in the sedan had less-severe injuries.
