Pierce County man shot to death; girlfriend arrested
A 51-year-old Pierce County man has been shot dead, and his girlfriend has been taken into custody.

A 51-year-old Pierce County man died after allegedly being shot by his girlfriend, Pierce County sheriff’s detectives said.
The incident happened Friday night in the 32300 block of 68th Avenue South in Roy.
The woman, in her 40s, was booked into Pierce County Jail on homicide charges, said Sheriff’s Department spokesman Ed Troyer.
The woman’s adult daughter had called 911 at about 9:10 p.m. to report the shooting.
