Bellingham fire that injured man may have been set
The fire at a Bellingham home that left a man in critical condition may have been arson.

The fire at a Bellingham home that left a man in critical condition may have been arson.
The Bellingham Fire Department reports the Snohomish County dog "Topper," which is trained to detect fuels, was brought to the scene and indicated the fire may have been set.
The Bellingham Herald says a neighbor reported the fire about 5:20 a.m. Saturday but was unable to rescue the man. He was removed by firefighters and sent to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with burns.
