BELLINGHAM, Wash. —

A 29-year-old man convicted of murder in the beating deaths of his girlfriend and her 1-year-old son was sentenced Thursday in Bellingham to 41 years in prison.

Daniel Edward Johnson apologized in court to the family of Laura McQueen.
