Power's back on in Gig Harbor, company says

A logging truck ran into transmission lines Thursday and caused a large power outage in the Gig Harbor area. The power was restored shortly after 7 p.m.

The power was restored shortly after 7 p.m., according to Sonja Hall, the public information officer for Tacoma Public Utilities.
