A man who described himself as a burglary buddy of Barefoot Bandit Colton Harris-Moore, Harley Davidson Ironwing, was sentenced Thursday in Everett to a year-and-a-half in prison.
The Daily Herald reports the 20-year-old Stanwood man pleaded guilty to assault for knocking down an 85-year-old man last June while trying to flee a grocery store with shoplifted cheese.
Ironwing has a history of property crimes. He has said he taught Harris-Moore how to break into homes on Camano Island.
Harris-Moore was captured in July in the Bahamas after two years on the lam. He's awaiting trail in federal court.
