The city of Bothell held a meeting Tuesday to answer questions from developers interested in building a new City Hall. The new City Hall is part of a planned $150 million makeover of downtown that includes moving Highway 522 and extending the city's Main Street.

The city is soliciting proposals for developers interested in designing and building the 50,000 square feet for City Hall, which also could include multiuse ideas, the city said.

The proposals are due by Aug. 18. From the proposals, a selection committee will choose three to five developers who will then come up with more detailed proposals for the city.
