Wash. high school test results will be in the mail
High school students who took the statewide achievement tests this spring will be receiving their scores sometime in the next week or so.

High school students who took the statewide achievement tests this spring will be receiving their scores sometime in the next week or so.
These are the first results from the new High School Proficiency Exam.
Those who have yet to pass the reading, writing or math tests, may register online for the August exams. State education officials say there's a short window for registration: June 1 through June 18.
Washington high school students are required to pass the reading and writing tests - or an approved alternative - to get a high school diploma. They must also take the math test at least once. If they don't pass the math test, they must keep taking math classes. They may also choose to keep taking the test.
Graduation rules are set to change for the class of 2013.
