The King County prosecutor's office says the jury has reached a verdict in the penalty phase of the aggravated murder trial of Conner Schierman (SHYR'-man).

SEATTLE —

The King County prosecutor's office says the jury has reached a verdict in the penalty phase of the aggravated murder trial of Conner Schierman (SHYR'-man).

The jury is scheduled to announce at 2 p.m. Wednesday whether the 28-year-old should be executed or sentenced to life in prison life without parole in the deaths of two women and two children.

The case went to the King County Superior Court jury after closing arguments Monday and a plea for mercy from Schierman.

He was convicted April 12 of four counts of aggravated murder for the July 2006 slayings of Olga Milkin, her 5- and 3-year-old sons, and her sister.
