YAKIMA, Wash. —

A 25-year-old man is hospitalized with gunshot wounds after an officer-involved shooting in Yakima.

Yakima police say officers were investigating a drive-by shooting late Saturday when they encountered an armed man known to have gang affiliations. During the encounter, an officer shot the man in the leg and hip.
