1 man hospitalized in Yakima police shooting
A 25-year-old man is hospitalized with gunshot wounds after an officer-involved shooting in Yakima.

A 25-year-old man is hospitalized with gunshot wounds after an officer-involved shooting in Yakima.
Yakima police say officers were investigating a drive-by shooting late Saturday when they encountered an armed man known to have gang affiliations. During the encounter, an officer shot the man in the leg and hip.
The wounded man was taken to the hospital. Police say his injuries are not considered life threatening.
Police say the man will be booked for rendering criminal assistance when he is released from the hospital.
