One man shot and killed, another wounded, at Federal Way party
Federal Way police are searching for 3 suspects in a shooting that left one man dead at a house party early Sunday.
Times Snohomish County reporter
Police were searching Sunday for three men suspected of being involved in a shooting outside a Federal Way home that left one man dead and another injured.
Federal Way police say they responded to reports of gunfire at a house in the 30800 block of 20th Avenue South about 4:30 a.m. Witnesses told them that a large house party had spilled out into the front yard when a fight broke out.
Raymond Bunk of the Federal Way police said the three suspects had previously left the party and then returned when the gunfire erupted.
Police and medics found the two victims inside the residence. They performed CPR, but one man died at the scene. The other was rushed to Harborview Medical Center where he underwent surgery. Police said he was in serious condition but is expected to live.
The identities of the victims have not been released. Both are believed to be Renton men between 20 and 30 years old, Bunk said.
Police say the shooters are also believed to be Hispanic men between about 20 and 30 years old. Police did not have a description of the car driven by the suspects.
