Bone: Ducks loss "hit us pretty hard."
Washington State basketball coach Ken Bone admits the technical foul that helped Oregon beat the Cougars last week "hit us pretty hard."

Washington State basketball coach Ken Bone admits the technical foul that helped Oregon beat the Cougars last week "hit us pretty hard."
But he wasn't sure if Washington State will file a protest and even whether that would matter much.
"It's in the Pac-10's best interest to let everybody move on, so that's probably what will happen," Bone said Tuesday.
Last Thursday, Washington State appeared to have beaten Oregon in the first overtime after De'Angelo Casto made a basket with 0.3 seconds left. But the Cougars were called for a technical foul after a fan and some bench players stepped onto the court in celebration.
Oregon's Tajuan Porter sank both free throws to tie the game, sending it to a second overtime. Oregon won 91-89.
Washington State (11-3, 1-1 Pac-10) recovered to beat Oregon State on Saturday. This week, Washington State travels to Arizona (7-7, 1-1) on Friday and Arizona State (10-5, 0-2) on Sunday.
Klay Thompson, the Pac-10's leading scorer, was one of 30 players named this week as a candidate for the John R. Wooden Award. The 6-foot-6 sophomore guard has led the team in scoring in 13 of the team's 14 games and reached 20-plus points in 11 of the 14 games.
Despite some recent shooting woes, Thompson continues to have the green light, Bone said.
"The more he shoots, the more he is going to make," the coach said.
