Bothell fire chief resigns for undisclosed reason

Bothell Fire Chief Warren Burns, who had been on paid leave since Feb. 20, has resigned.

Bothell Fire Chief Warren Burns, who had been on paid leave since Feb. 20, has resigned.

A city spokeswoman, Joyce Goedeke said that Burns had been placed on leave, but she could not provide details, saying it was a personnel matter.

Before taking the job in Bothell in September 2006, Burns worked 24 years for the city of Everett as fire marshal and assistant chief.
