British Columbia's premier says the provincial legislature will hold a special session to deal with the City of Vancouver's financing crisis over the 2010 Olympic village.
Government lawyers are drafting legislation to amend the Vancouver Charter to allow the city to borrow more than $360 million to finish the project that will house Olympic athletes.
Premier Gordon Campbell said Wednesday the legislature would be recalled to deal with the issue before the legislature's scheduled resumption on Feb. 10.
He says as soon as the amendment is ready they'll bring in the legislature.
