SNOHOMISH, — Snohomish police are looking for foster homes for three horses that were found starving at a home where another horse had died.

The police department says officers were called to the home Monday because of the dead animal. They found one starving horse in critical condition and two more extremely weak from lack of food.

The owner, a 27-year-old Snohomish woman, agreed to turn over custody of the animals.
