SEATAC, Wash. - Seattle-Tacoma International Airport was briefly shut down Thursday morning because of a reported security breach.

Airport spokeswoman Katie Nowlin says the breach happened at the airport's central checkpoint. Details are sketchy, but Nowlin says more information will follow as the Transportation Security Administration reviews what happened.

Planes that had not left their gates were held from taking off during the lockdown, which lasted about an hour.
