Deer causes Highway 2 motorcycle wreck in WA
A man broke six ribs, an arm, a wrist and a collar bone when he was thrown from his motorcycle onto the road after hitting a deer on Highway 2.
The crash occurred east of Wenatchee at about 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
The State Patrol says 64-year-old Daniel Wickersheim, of Duvall, also suffered a collapsed lung in the accident. He was reported in stable condition at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee.
A passenger, 55-year-old Kay Wickersheim, also was thrown from the bike, but sustained only minor injuries. She was treated at the hospital and released.
