Man held in death of teen in Lynnwood
A 16-year-old boy has died after being found unconscious with a fractured skull in Lynnwood, and a 29-year-old man is being held for investigation of murder.
Police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions says drugs were found in the man's house, and he and the teen had been in a fight that may have been drug-related
She says Fire Department paramedics found the teenager unconscious at the house Wednesday afternoon. He died about two hours later at Stevens Hospital in Edmonds.
According to documents filed in court Thursday, the man initially told detectives he held down the teen because the boy was high on methamphetamine and out of control. He later told investigators he punched the boy in the face because the boy tried to hug him.
