As a precaution, it is best to not eat hard-cooked eggs gathered at Easter egg hunts if you have not been involved in their cooking or handling.

Hard-cooked

eggs need to be kept refrigerated and should not be held at room temperature for more than two hours including the time for decorating and hunting.
