Game time: 12:30 p.m., Friday, Husky Stadium.

TV: Ch. 13.

UW coach: Steve Sarkisian, 33-29 in fifth year at Washington.

WSU coach: Mike Leach, 9-14 in second year at WSU, 93-57 overall.

UW record: 7-4 overall, 4-4 in Pac-12 games after a 69-27 victory at Oregon State.

WSU record: 6-5 overall, 4-4 in Pac-12 games after a 49-37 win over Utah.

The series: UW leads 67-32-6.

The early line: Huskies by 14 points.

UW key players: If his throwing shoulder is healthy enough, Keith Price, UW’s career leader in touchdown passes, will start the final home game of his career. If he’s not available, redshirt freshman Cyler Miles will make his second start at quarterback. … Bishop Sankey, with 1,575 yards, needs 120 more to match Corey Dillon’s season record of 1,695 yards in 1996. Sankey scored three touchdowns in the Huskies’ victory over Oregon State, giving him 34 for his career to tie Napoleon Kaufman for the most rushing TDs in program history. … Cornerback Marcus Peters had two interceptions, three pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery against OSU. … Linebacker Shaq Thompson returned an interception 80 yards for a touchdown.

WSU key players: Quarterback Connor Halliday was interception-prone early in the year, but has limited those to two over his past three games and has been a solid decision-maker. ... WR Gabe Marks is the leading WSU receiver, but has only two catches over his past two games while Dom Williams (five catches for 154 yards against Utah) is the big-play wideout. ... RB Marcus Mason has been productive lately, both running and catching. ... S Deone Bucannon leads the Pac-12 with 102 tackles, LB Justin Sagote has had big games the past two weeks and DT Xavier Cooper is tops on the team in tackles for loss with 12.5.

UW’s keys to success: Regardless of who starts at quarterback, the Huskies would certainly love to establish the run the way they did against Oregon State. Another 530 yards is probably not realistic.

WSU’s keys to success: The Cougars must protect Halliday well, and his ability to get the ball out quickly helps. On defense, they must shed blocks to limit Washington’s run game, and be sound on the back end because they’re not considered overly athletic dropping into coverage.
