Game time: 5 p.m. at Husky Stadium.

TV: Pac-12 Networks.

Coach: Mike MacIntrye (3-5, first year at Colorado; 19-26 overall, including three seasons at San Jose State).

Record: 3-5, 0-5 Pac-12.

Last game: UCLA, reeling from back-to-back defeats against Stanford and Oregon, used a 28-3 second-half surge to pull away from Colorado for a 45-23 victory Saturday at the Rose Bowl.

The series: UW leads 7-5-1.

The early line: Huskies by 28 points.

Key players: True freshman Sefo Liufau, a product of Tacoma’s Bellarmine Prep, took over as Colorado’s quarterback three weeks ago and has completed 74 of 114 passes for 826 yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions. He won his starting debut against Charleston Southern 43-10 and was a productive 25 of 36 for 247 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in his first road start, at UCLA. ... Receiver Paul Richardson is among the national leaders with 57 catches for 984 yards and eight touchdowns. ... True freshman running back Michael Adkins II, who leads CU with 73.8 yards rushing a game, is expected to return from a concussion this week. ... Freshman defensive lineman Josh Tupou, cousin of Washington lineman Siosifa Tufunga, has 1.5 sacks.

Colorado’s key to success: Much like rebuilding California coming to Husky Stadium two weeks ago, Colorado will need everything to fall just about perfectly for a chance at upsetting UW on Saturday. The Buffaloes, like Cal, could be starting a true freshman at quarterback and running back. Their leading tackler, linebacker Addison Gillam, also is a true freshman.
