Several media outlets are reporting point guard Jahmel Taylor, a senior at Pacific Hills High in Los Angeles, verbally committed to Washington on Monday.
The 5-foot-11, 160-pound guard is rated a three-star recruit by Scout.com and Rivals.com. ESPN.com gave him two stars.
He had offers from Long Beach State, UC Santa Barbara and Fresno State.
