Washington travels to Europe and Africa in August for exhibitions, but will spend most of the 2012-13 nonconference season in Seattle.

The Huskies play nine regular-season, nonconference games at Edmundson Pavilion, highlighted by visits from Loyola-Maryland (Nov. 11), Colorado State (Nov. 24) and Saint Louis (Nov. 28). Each team appeared in the 2012 NCAA tournament.

Washington also hosts Nevada (Dec. 8) and Northern Illinois (Dec. 22), which played in the 2012 National Invitation Tournament.

The UW plays just three games outside Seattle, including two out-of-state trips and just one true road contest.

The Huskies start the season Oct. 24 against 2012 NCAA Division II champion Western Washington in a home exhibition.

Then comes four games in the Hall of Fame Classic. UW plays in Seattle on Nov. 11 (Loyola, Md.) and Nov. 13 (Albany), before traveling to Uncasville, Conn., for a game against Seton Hall on Nov. 17.

The next day UW plays either Ohio State or Rhode Island. A matchup against the Buckeyes would be the first since 1973.

Washington meets crosstown rival Seattle University at KeyArena a littler earlier than normal (Dec. 13) and concludes the nonconference schedule Dec. 29 at UConn.

The Pac-12 schedule has not been released.
