Eldridge Recasner was a three-time All-Pac-10 conference guard for Washington and finished his career as one of the best in Husky history.
He still ranks in the top 10 of many career, season and single-game stats for the Huskies, including seventh all-time in scoring and assists.
Recasner went on to play 12 years of professional basketball, including stints in the NBA with the Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets and L.A. Clippers. In the 1994--95 season, he earned the CBA MVP award while leading the Yakima Sun Kings to the league title.
During the Husky basketball season, he can be heard with Donald Watts on the "Husky Honks Show" hosted by Dave "Softy" Mahler on Sports Radio KJR.
Recasner answered questions about the NCAA tournament, the Huskies' disappointing 2012-13 season and more in a live chat March 20 on seattletimes.com.
