MOSCOW, Idaho — Regina Rogers scored 27 points and pulled down 14 rebounds as Washington beat Idaho 66-49 on Wednesday night.
The senior notched the fifth double-double of her career and second this season.
Aminah Williams scored 11 points as the Huskies (4-2) rebounded from a loss Saturday against San Diego State.
Stacy Barr scored 11 points for the Vandals (2-5). Keri Arendse made three three-pointers and had nine points.
Washington dominated on the boards and in the paint. The Huskies outscored the Vandals 34-14 in the paint and outrebounded them 50-37.
Washington hit 40 percent (25 of 62), while Idaho shot a dismal 27.8 percent, making 15 of 54 shots and 7 of 31 three-pointers (22.6 percent). The 31 three-point attempts was a season high. Idaho had a season-low 14 turnovers.
Idaho trailed most of the game but went on a 10-2 run midway through the second half to cut the Huskies' lead to 47-41. But that was as close as the Vandals came.
