During his time at the University of Washington, Dave Hoffmann became of one of the top linebackers in Husky history.

A relentless defender, he led UW three times in total tackles for a season, including the undefeated 1991 National Championship squad.

Hoffmann still ranks high on several game, season and career defensive stat lists, including fifth in tackles for loss in a career with 46.

He was a two-time All-Pac-10 Conference selection, two-time All-America and was named the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year in 1992.
