Rewind | Live chat with UW softball coach Heather Tarr & shortstop Jenn Salling
Latest from the Husky Football & Basketball blogs
University of Washington softball coach Heather Tarr is in her seventh season with the Huskies and has the squad back in the NCAA tournament for the 18th consecutive year.
In 2009, she guided UW to a 51-12 record and its first NCAA national title following a championship-series win over Florida.
Shortstop Jenn Salling was a key member of the national championship team after transferring from Oregon and hit .318 in the World Series and .415 in the postseason.
She helped UW get back to the WCWS as a junior and now, as a senior, looks to lead the Huskies to their 11th World Series berth.
Tarr and Salling talked about the 2011 season, their chances in the NCAA tourney and much more in a live chat May 17 on seattletimes.com.
