Rewind: Chat with UW athletic director Scott Woodward
Latest from the Husky Football & Basketball blogs
Scott Woodward was named University of Washington athletic director in September 2008.
During his time at UW, the Huskies have won numerous Pac-10 conference championships, including back-to-back golf titles in 2009-10. They've also won three national championships in women's cross country, men's crew and softball.
His hirings of football coach Steve Sarkisian, baseball coach Lindsay Meggs and new men's soccer coach Jaime Clark have strengthened those programs.
Currently, he's overseeing the university's plans to rebuild 90-year-old Husky Stadium.
Woodward talked about the Husky Stadium renovation, the school's sports programs and much more in a live chat Feb. 24 on seattletimes.com.
