Nebraska comeback overtakes Washington in volleyball

Nebraska came back from losing the first two sets to beat Washington on Saturday night at Edmunson Pavilion and prevent the Huskies from advancing to the NCAA women's volleyball Final Four in Omaha, Neb.

Nebraska came back from losing the first two sets to beat Washington on Saturday night at Edmunson Pavilion and prevent the Huskies from advancing to the NCAA women's volleyball Final Four in Omaha, Neb.

The Cornhuskers (31-2) won 14-25, 23-25, 25-17, 26-24, 15-13.

Washington (27-5) lost despite winning the first two sets, the first in decisive fashion. But the athletic Cornhuskers came back to pull even with a narrow victory in the fourth set, forcing the decisive final one.

Nebraska trailed 9-3 in the final set before coming back to win.
