Series: Washington leads, 58-37-5.
Comment: Ducks have won the past four by an average of 22 ½ points. Last UW win was 42-10 in 2003 when Keith Gilbertson was coach.
Sept. 6
BYU
Noon, FSN
Series: UW leads, 4-2
Comment: Huskies have won three games in Seattle by an average of 17.6 points. Key game for Cougars in quest for berth in a BCS bowl.
Sept. 13
Oklahoma
![]()
4:45 p.m., ESPN
Series: Tied 1-1
Comment: Only meetings are memorable 1985 Orange Bowl win for Huskies and a 37-20 victory for Sooners in Norman in 2006.
Sept. 27
Stanford
7 p.m., FSN
Series: UW leads, 40-34-4.
Comment: Willingham is 4-1 against his former team but 0-1 in Seattle, losing 20-3 in 2006 after Suddenly Senior controversy.
Oct. 4
at Arizona
TBA
Series: UW leads, 16-7-1.
Comment: Already tabbed by some as "Hot Seat Bowl" with each coach under a lot of scrutiny. Willingham has two wins in Tucson.
Oct. 18
Oregon State
4 p.m., Versus
Series: UW leads, 57-31-4.
Comment: OSU has won four in a row and this figures to be a highly charged affair after an emotional game in Corvallis last year.
Oct. 25
Notre Dame
5 p.m., ABC/ESPN/ESPN2
Series: Notre Dame
leads, 6-0.
Comment: Willingham is 1-1 in this series, beating the Huskies in 2004 while at Notre Dame and losing in 2005 while coach of UW.
Nov. 1
at USC
TBA
Series: USC leads, 48-26-4
Comment: Trojans have won the past six, longest streak since winning 10 in a row from 1965-74. Huskies have been close the past two years, however, losing by a combined nine points.
Nov. 8
Arizona State
TBA
Series: UW leads, 15-12.
Comment: Dennis Erickson is 0-3 at Husky Stadium, losing once as WSU coach (1987) and twice as Oregon State coach (2000, 2002). ASU has won the past four, its longest streak.
Nov. 15
UCLA
TBA
Series: UCLA leads,
36-29-2.
Comment: Focus on this one will inevitably turn to the UCLA sideline and coach Rick Neuheisel, who will make his return to Husky Stadium.
Nov. 22
at Washington State
Noon, FSN
Series: UW leads, 64-30-6
Comment: Cougars have won three of past four and have never won four of five against Huskies. Willingham is 1-2 in Apple Cups, winning in Pullman in 2006.
Dec. 6
at California
TBA
Series: UW leads, 47-37-4
Comment: Game moved back to create some byes in the schedule. First time since 1948 WSU isn't final conference opponent of the season.
