Tuesday, January 24, 2006 - Page updated at 12:00 AM Football Schilling cuts USC from consideration
Washington has finally gotten at least one small victory over USC in football, one that could turn into a bigger win down the road. Bellevue High offensive lineman Stephen Schilling said Monday he has eliminated the Trojans from his list of possible schools, leaving UW, Michigan and California. Schilling visited USC this weekend but said, "I just didn't feel it would be the right place for me in the end." He will have in-home visits with coaches from Michigan, Cal and UW by Wednesday and said he will likely eliminate one more school by Wednesday or Thursday before making a final decision between the remaining two on Friday.
