Seattle Prep hoops standout Martell Webster released a statement today saying he has signed with an agent as he prepares for the NBA draft.

By doing so, Webster, who had signed a letter of intent to play for Coach Lorenzo Romar at Washington, loses his college eligibility.

"I will always consider Coach Romar a trusted friend, mentor and a role model," Webster said in the statement.

Webster, who is 6-foot-7, is projected to be among the top 15 picks in the June draft. He also is expected to attend the pre-draft camp in Chicago June 7-11 to further assess his standing.
