Lipsbergs gets hat trick in Seattle’s 6-2 victory at Lethbridge
Roberts Lipsbergs had a hat trick and Alexander Delnov had two goals to pace the Seattle Thunderbirds to a 6-2 victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes Saturday night at the Enmax Centre in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Seattle goalie Justin Myles made 27 saves on 29 shots to get the win and improve his record to 3-1-0-0.
Mathew Barzal had four assists, and Shea Theodore had three assists. Riley Sheen and Justin Hickman each had two assists.
Lipsbergs scored all three of his goals in Seattle’s four-goal first period.
The T-birds are in the midst of a six-game trip. They face the Kootenay Ice on Sunday at 5 p.m. and finish the trip Friday at the Kelowna Rockets.
Spokane tops Everett in OT
Liam Stewart scored at 2:54 of overtime to help the Spokane Indians to a 1-0 victory before 4,765 at Everett’s Comcast Arena.
Eric Williams made 31 saves for Spokane.
Austin Lotz made 20 saves for the Silvertips.
