Two quick goals power Seattle Thunderbirds

KENT — In a span of 2 ½ minutes of the third period, the Seattle Thunderbirds (13-13-1-0) scored twice to break a tie and post a 4-2 victory over Kelowna (17-9-1-1) in Western Hockey League action Saturday in the ShoWare Center.

Shea Theodore broke a 2-2 tie at 14:12, and Brendan Rouse added to the lead at 16:39.

Portland 4, at Everett 1

The Winterhawks (22-4-1-0) scored the first four goals in beating the Silvertips (11-18-0-2), who got a goal from Cole MacDonald.
