Abrahm DeVine, Lakeside boys swimming

Yes, the junior was indeed divine at the Metro Championship meet, sweeping victories in his two individual events (100 butterfly and 500 freestyle) and swimming on the winning 200 medley and 400 free relays. His 50.74 in the butterfly was a personal best and school record. “He has had a great season and we are super excited for his performances at the state meet,” coach Sally Mingarelli said.

Joslin Pierotti, Enumclaw girls wrestling

Pieorotti, a senior, is a fast learner. In just her first season of wrestling, she is making a name for herself after winning the 155-pound title at the Subregional 4 tournament. She came in seeded fifth and wound up pinning her three opponents. “She is a hard worker and has really progressed in her wrestling this year,” coach Jerry Scheidt said.

Lindbergh boys swimming and diving team

For the first time in school history, coach Roger Miron’s team won the Seamount League meet, piling up 356 points. Senior Andrew Franco-Munoz broke two school records in winning the 50 freestyle and placing second in the 100 butterfly.
