Natalie Vukic

Bainbridge, F, Sr.

The University of Utah recruit piled up 53 goals in her four-year varsity career, including 43 goals in the last two seasons with defenses geared to stop her. Vukic helped push the Spartans (14-3-2) into the 3A state quarterfinals.

Mia Bladin

The Northwest School, F, Sr.

Bladin’s talent was apparent in the Emerald City League as she finished with 16 goals and five assists and was named league MVP for the second season in a row. She will head to Harvard University next fall.

Beth Stella

King’s, F, Sr.

The Princeton University commit powered the Shoreline school’s high-octane offense, which produced 99 goals, with 32 goals and 18 assists. Stella was a big reason King’s (19-4) had its best-ever finish at 1A state, finishing second.

Isabelle Butterfield

Bellevue, MF, Sr.

The Seattle University-bound Butterfield attracted major defensive attention every match and still managed to pile up 19 goals and six assists for the KingCo 3A/2A regular-season champions. A creative and speedy threat, she helped the Wolverines to third place in the school’s first state berth.

Mary Ann Santucci

Seattle Prep, MF, Sr.

Santucci was the glue for the Panthers’ run to the state semifinals with 10 goals and six assists. The Yale basketball recruit, who also plays tennis for the Panthers, led Prep (13-5-6) to a fourth-place finish in Class 3A.

Calisse Crisler

Archbishop Murphy, MF, Sr.

The University of Arizona recruit was a big reason the Wildcats (20-2) of Everett advanced to the Class 2A state quarterfinals. She finished the 2013 season with team-highs of 26 goals and 16 assists.

Lexi Klinkenberg

Kentridge, MF, Sr.

The SPSL 4A North Co-MVP led the Chargers (13-1-4) to the school’s first division title this fall. Klinkenberg tallied six goals and 14 assists. She and her twin sister, Abby, are verbally committed to Western Washington.

Lyrik Fryer

Issaquah, D, Jr.

Named co-MVP of KingCo 4A, the offensive-minded player takes many free kicks for the Eagles and registered five goals and 10 assists for her team, which took second in Class 4A state for the second season in a row.

Sophia Wagner

Auburn Mountainview, D, Sr.

The University of Chicago recruit led the Lions (17-3) to their first SPSL 3A regular-season title since 2011 and their first 3A state-tournament win. She helped hold league opponents to just six goals.

Abbey Porter

Skyline, D, Jr.

Porter, verbally committed to WSU, played almost every minute this season at the center of a Spartans defense that helped win the KingCo 4A regular-season title. The Sammamish school went 8-1-1 and gave up just three goals in conference play.

Molly Stinson

Woodinville, GK, Sr.

The Seattle Pacific recruit registered nine shutouts in arguably the state’s toughest conference, KingCo 4A, and helped the Falcons to third place in the regular season with a 7-3 record. Stinson yielded just 13 goals this fall.

Coach of the Year

Scott Smith, Bellevue

It was a year of firsts at Bellevue as second-year coach Smith guided the Wolverines to their first KingCo 3A/2A regular-season title, first conference tournament title, and first state berth. Bellevue (17-4) finished third at state.
