Key players: Patrick Ball, 6-4, Sr., 18 ppg; Arell Hennings, 5-10, Sr., 11 ppg; Eugene Artison, 6-8, Jr., 10 ppg.

Inside look: It has been an up-and-down season for Franklin, but Quakers are dangerous if they hit three-pointers.

Seattle Prep Panthers

Location: Seattle

Record: 20-7

Coach: Mike Kelly

Key players: D.J. Fenner, 6-6, Sr., 28 ppg; Laurence Hicks, 6-2, Jr., 9 ppg; Jack Stewart, 6-1, So., 7 ppg.

Inside look: Prep is led by Fenner, but the Panthers are here in part because they play good defense.

Mountlake Terrace Hawks

Location: Mountlake Terrace

Record: 21-3

Coach: Nalin Sood

Key players: Greg Bowman, 6-7, Jr., 13 ppg; Marquis Armstead, 6-1, Sr., 12 ppg; Loren Lacasse, 6-5, Jr., 11 ppg.

Inside look: Hawks have four players averaging at least 10 points. They challenged themselves with a tough nonconference schedule.

University Titans

Location: Spokane

Record: 16-7

Coach: Garrick Phillips

Key players: Brett Bailey, 6-5, Sr., 22 ppg; Joe Carrieres, 6-3, Sr., 8 ppg; Michael Isotalo, 6-1, Jr., 8 ppg.

Inside look: Titans snapped 27-year drought by making the state tournament last year and finished third. Bailey is back and is big time.

Lincoln Abes

Location: Tacoma

Record: 20-3

Coach: Aubrey Shelton

Key players: Tre'Shaun Fletcher, 6-7, Sr., 21 ppg; Ahmaad Rorie, 6-2, Jr., 21 ppg.

Inside look: Abes have been a top-three team all season and have arguably the best duo in the tournament in Rorie and Fletcher.

Timberline

Blazers

Location: Lacey

Record: 16-9

Coach: Allen Thomas

Key players: Donaven Dorsey, 6-6, Jr., 21 ppg; Elijah Sanders, 6-5, Sr., 12 ppg; Brandell Evans, 5-10, So., 8 ppg.

Inside look: Blazers shocked No. 4 Mercer Island to get here. They rely on future D-I player Dorsey.
