Benton, a senior guard/forward, averaged 30 points and 9.3 rebounds in three Eagles victories. She exploded for a career-high 38 points in a 58-55 win over Rogers. Benton also averaged nearly four assists and four steals.

Budda Baker

Bellevue football

Baker, a junior running back and defensive back, returned a punt 71 yards for a touchdown and ran 61 yards for a score in the Wolverines' 35-3 victory over Eastside Catholic in the Class 3A state championship game. He also intercepted a pass.

Skyline football team

Coach Mat Taylor's Spartans capped a 14-0 season with a 49-24 victory over Bellarmine Prep, giving them a second straight Class 4A state championship. They have won five titles over the past six seasons, including the 3A crown in 2007.
