Browne, a senior quarterback, was nearly flawless in leading the top-ranked Spartans to a come-from-behind victory over No. 2 Camas, 51-28, in the Class 4A state semifinals. He completed 29 of 32 passes for 387 yards and four touchdowns.

Bellevue football team

Butch Goncharoff's top-ranked Wolverines started slowly, but responded quickly to beat No. 2 Mount Si, 37-7, in the Class 3A state semifinals. They have an opportunity to win their fifth consecutive championship and 10th in the past 12 years.
