Matt Stuart

Lindbergh baseball

Stuart, a junior pitcher/first baseman, led the Eagles to three victories by going 7 for 8 with four home runs, two doubles, 11 runs batted in and eight scored. He also pitched a three-hit shutout against Kennedy Catholic, striking out four.

Amy-Eloise Neale

Glacier Peak track and field

Neale, a junior, successfully defended her title in the girls' mile in the invitational division of the prestigious Arcadia Invitational in California, and also placed second in the 800 meters. She ran the mile in 4 minutes, 51.43 seconds. Her 2:10.0 in the 800 leads the state.

Highline softball team

The Pirates, coached by Julie Young, improved to 7-0 in Seamount League games with four wins. They handed Kennedy Catholic its first loss, 16-6. Highline's lone loss came against Class 4A Ballard in the season opener.
