Luke Hamlin

Snohomish, G, 6-1, Sr.

One of the state's most explosive scorers, Hamlin made the most of his senior season, averaging 24 points, six rebounds and three assists. He scored a career-high 43 points against Monroe and had four other games with at least 29 points.

Anrio Adams

Rainier Beach, G, 6-3, Sr.

The Kansas-bound senior has the ability to take over games, and he did just that at times during his one season at Rainier Beach. And although he scored 33 points twice and averages more than 20, he also helps keep younger teammates involved.

Darien Nelson-Henry

Lake Washington, C, 6-11, Sr.

Nelson-Henry really blossomed as a senior, establishing himself as one of the state's top big men. The University of Pennsylvania-bound player averages 18 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks. He uses solid footwork and soft hands to dominate in the paint.

Mitch Penner

Kennedy Catholic, F, 6-5, Sr.

Penner started the season strong, scoring 20 or more points in six straight games, and never let up. The Seattle Pacific recruit has averaged almost 24 points while leading the Lancers to their first district title and a 3A state-tournament trip.

Zach LaVine

Bothell, G, 6-3, Jr.

The only junior on this team, LaVine is the state's top college prospect. He makes the game look easy. He's a deft scorer inside or out. LaVine, who already has offers from Washington and UCLA, among others, averages almost 24 points and has scored at least 30 in six games.

Brian Lund

Lake Washington coach

Brian Lund heard the news a few hours before a game early in the season. Coach Barry Johnson had been placed on administrative leave. Lund took over and the transition was seamless. In his first season as a head coach, Lund led the Kangaroos to a 20-6 record, a league title and a spot in the 3A state tourney.
