O'Dea senior Johri Fogerson is one of 50 high-school football players named National Old Spice Red Zone Players of the Year. Fogerson rushed for 2,545 yards and 34 touchdowns last fall.
Fogerson, who signed a letter of intent with Washington on Wednesday, was listed with the other winners in a full-page announcement in Thursday's USA Today.
Note
• Bishop Blanchet senior Vinny Papasedero, an All-Metro League running back, signed a letter of intent with Division II Colorado State-Pueblo, which restored its football program and next fall will field its first team since 1985.
