Kasey Parker, Lake Washington wrestling
Parker, a senior, won his 119-pound weight class to help the Kangs capture the KingCo 4A tournament team title. After a first-round bye, he pinned his quarterfinal opponent in 1 minute, 17 seconds and earned a 10-2 decision in the semifinals. In the championship match, Parker (24-6) beat Woodinville's Zander Mitchell 5-1.
Georgia Reynolds, Mount Si gymnastics
Reynolds, a sophomore, scored 36.6 to claim the all-around title at the KingCo 3A championships. She took first on the uneven bars (9.025) and balance beam (9.3), tied for second on the vault (9.1) and placed ninth in the floor exercise (9.175).
Cedarcrest wrestling team
The Red Wolves, coached by Eric Pedeferri, scored 232 points to edge favored Archbishop Murphy by 25.5 and win the Cascade Conference regional qualifier tournament. Omar Arredondo (112 pounds), J.D. Gorman (119), Ty Howard (125) and Brady Paxman (171) won titles as Cedarcrest qualified 14 wrestlers for Saturday's regionals in Mount Vernon.
