Betsy Devich
Woodinville, Libero, 5-7, Sr.
After suffering a severe knee injury in April, Devich returned from surgery in July to play libero for the first time. Finished the season as KingCo 4A Most Valuable Player and led Woodinville to the state tournament. Has committed to play at Washington State.
Kylin Munoz
Monroe, OH, 6-1, Jr.
Considered one of the best hitters in the area, Munoz helped lead the WesCo North Division team to seventh at the Class 4A state tournament. Had double-digit kills more than 15 times including a career-high 29 against Puyallup at state. Being recruited by Washington, Washington State, BYU, Oregon State and Nebraska.
Megan Augustavo
Bishop Blanchet, setter, 5-5, Sr.
Two-time Star Times honoree was also an All-Metro Mountain first-team selection. Led her team, which was ranked No. 1 in Class 3A most of the year, to a third-place finish at the state tournament. Averaged more than 30 assists per match. Will play for Seattle University.
Lauren Barfield
Newport, OH, 6-5, Sr.
KingCo 3A MVP averaged almost 17 kills per match. Didn't play volleyball until her sophomore year, but is now rated the sixth-ranked senior in the country by Prepvolleyball.com. Can reach 10 feet, 8 ½ inches on her jump. Recruited by nearly 50 schools and will play at Washington.
Jessie Genger
Kentwood, MB, 5-11, Jr.
Consistently the best player on a team that went 35-1 and placed third in the Class 4A state tournament. Voted the South Puget Sound League 4A North Division's MVP. Led the Covington school in hitting percentage (.356), and blocks (40.5) and was No. 2 in aces (64).
Kelcey Dunaway
Bainbridge, MB, 6-2, Sr.
All-Metro Mountain Division first team for the second straight year. Ranked the No. 64 senior in the nation by PrepVolleyball.com. Can reach 10 feet, 2 inches on her jump and owns school record for blocks. Averaged 15 kills per match. Will play for Washington next season.
Dominika Kristinikova
Auburn Riverside, setter, 5-9, Sr.
Slovakian exchange student helped key Riverside's run to its first Class 3A state championship game. Voted the MVP of South Puget Sound League 3A. An outstanding setter who also hits with power and accuracy (.448).
Bil Caillier
Kentwood, coach
Conquerors continued their rise under their sixth-year coach, finishing third at the Class 4A state tournament with a 35-1 record. Placed fourth in 2006, seventh in 2005 and eighth in 2004. Kentwood was 67-2 over the past two seasons and ranked nationally.
